RAMPSI Awarded Contract to Upgrade another Middle East Television Studio

RAMPSI was selected by Marsh, Copsey, and Associates to upgrade another local television studio in the Middle East.  The first phase included $600K in equipment to upgrade of the station’s on-air capabilities at their existing studio.

This was accomplished with a Ross Synergy switcher and terminal gear, Evertz 5600MSC master sync generator, and a Pixel Power CG.  In addition, the station received new Arri and Kino-flo lighting for all three studios, Final Cut edit stations with cinema displays and Sony 20” Luma monitors along with Sony 400 ENG cameras with full remote support equipment.

The station produces a lot of music and entertainment programming, so a 40-input Allen-Heath ML3000 audio mixer was installed in the larger Studio 3.  A Pro-Tools HD3 audio system was also installed along with Neumann microphones in the sound studio.

Everything was assembled and prepped stateside before shipment to Erbil.

The initial budget for equipment, prep, installation, overseas transport, and training was $827K.  RAMPSI was able to complete the job under budget, saving the client over $70K.
