Phase II – A New Studio

With the successful first phase upgrade to a Middle East studio, RAMPSI was again hired by Marsh, Copsey, and Associates (MCA) to assist in phase two - the construction and outfitting of a new broadcast television facility.

In less then 18 months the project went from authorization to begin, to final construction documents and equipment purchase contracts with a projected construction and integration budget of $18M.

Several locations were considered with the final lot conveniently located with in the city limits.  A team from Lawson and Associates, of Bethesda, Maryland handled the design and a Turkish contractor was selected to construct the facility.

The project is currently on hold until final funding is approved by the local authorities.

The final facility is designed to house three studios with 14 cameras, use Evertz routing switchers, terminal equipment and monitor walls, along with a Miranda master control switcher and branding graphics .
