NRCC Goes HD in its DC Studio

R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. was selected to upgrade the National Republican Congressional Committee's studio at its Washington, DC headquarters. Ray Milograno with the assistance of David Rothgeb consolidated four racks of analog equipment down to two, providing staff the ability to capture archived footage for use in current productions.

RAMPSI also installed a Sony EX3 HD camera and Telescript promoter, a Telos hybrid for communicating with off-site interviewers along with Ensemble Design terminal and distribution equipment. Ray worked with Verizon technicians to turn up the previously installed dark fiber. Congressional members can now broadcast live to their home districts, or anywhere else in the world, in either HD or standard definition.
