Blackmagic Design's 1ME ATEM Switcher at GMU's Arlington Studio.

R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. has completed the build out of a new video production studio at the Arlington campus of George Mason University.  The studio has two Sony HXR-NX5U AVCHD camcorders on dolly’s that are able to record mixed audio from the control room so all individual cameras have good clear audio.

Cameras are switched with a Blackmagic Design ATEM 1ME switcher and broadcast panel.  Clients can record directly to an Atomos Samurai 10-bit HD recorder and or stream directly out via the college’s high speed connection to it’s main webcasting and encoding facility in Fairfax or directly to Verizon’s AVOC for a conventional broadcast.  The studio is available for outside non-school related productions.  For rates and availability contact Capitol Connection at 703 993-3100.
