Ray Milograno completed seven days of location shooting at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee this week at The American Association of Christian Counselors’ bi-annual World Conference.


In mid-May, Ray Milograno will begin a video system design and documentation project with CACI to support one of their government contracts.

R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. has completed the build out of a new video production studio at the Arlington campus of George Mason University.  The studio has two Sony HXR-NX5U AVCHD camcorders on dolly’s that are able to record mixed audio from the control room so all individual cameras have good clear audio. 


R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. was contacted by the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to devise a way to record the Vatican satellite feeds during off-hours.  Several options were considered.  The USCCB finalized on Tools on Air’s Just:in recording software which is an innovative Apple Macintosh-based ingest solution that offers batch, scheduled and crash recording.


R. A. M. Production Services, Inc.has been awarded a contract to shoot and produce twenty 1-hour training video for Carenet Crisis Pregnancy Centers in conjuction with The American Association of Christian Counselors.  Taping scheduled to begin the week of June 25th with content experts from around the country flying in for taping in Ashburn, VA.

Ray Milograno, of R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. just completed a 5-day shoot in the Bahamas as assistant director to produce spots for the upcoming presidential election for Tony Marsh of Savanna Communications.  Needing to shoot enough footage for 6-8 spots in such a short period, on two different islands, two crews were needed to capture it all. 


R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. began installation of two Vaddio WallView CCU HD-19 HD-SDI PTZ cameras in the Falls Church, Virginia Sanctuary.  The heart of the system will be a Blackmagic Design 1ME ATEM switcher.  In the immediate, the church as opted to control the switcher with a touch screen computer screen. 


On a referral from Ben There Media, R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. (RAMPSI) is currently assisting The Society for Truth and Justice (STJ) with getting their new production studio up and running. STJ moved their headquarters from Northern Virginia to West Virginia, this summer and needed advice on how to best convert an expansive open concrete lower level into a functional video production studio and control room. 


Prince William County notified Nine Yards Media that they are the Prime contract holder to provide video production, graphic support, and video system design and integration services to the county.  R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. will be providing production support where need to the county thru Nine Yards along with video system design and integration services.

Vienna is moving ahead with its efforts to broadcast meetings via cable television, and may be ready to do so as early as next spring, officials said. 

The Town Council on April 25 waived competitive-procurement requirements and agreed to a $12,000 purchase order with R. A. M.


Alexandria, Virginia

The United Way recently completed a rebuild and modernization of it’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.  Once the construction was complete, R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. moved and rewired the editing suite and duplication equipment into the new space and provided complete documentation on the rewire.

The Town of Vienna, Virginia awarded a consulting contract to R. A. M. Production Services, Inc.


After ten years, it was time for the Central Intelligence Agency’s training facility to upgrade the video monitors at one of their main learning centers.  R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. was called upon for this upgrade.  The original large and heavy, 4x3 CRT television monitors were replaced with two 47” LCD monitors on each side of the room.  The old ceiling mounts were removed and new wall mounts were utilized in the installation.


Langley, Virginia 

R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. has integrated an Avid edit system, along with VTRs, router, monitors, and audio mixer for one of the agency’s departments at their headquarters facility.  Ray Milograno from RAMPSI worked closely with Chip Sartorius from Avid who assembled and prepped the Avid system.
