Our services include complete Video Production and Post Production – Everything from scripting, directing and shooting to editing, DVD creation and streaming video.

And it’s our production experience that enables us to excel in Video System Design and Integration. We design and build a system as if we were going to be the ones using it.

RAMPSI Upgrades FERC’s Hearing Room’s Control Room

Capitol Connection, of Fairfax Virginia, webcasts the commission meetings of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. They also own and maintain the video and transmission equipment located on site.

RAMPSI originally installed a Broadcast Pix switcher as the heart of the system in 2008, but it was now time for an upgrade. The existing three low-profile Winsted security racks became too small to hold additional equipment that was added over the years. RAMPSI consolidated the equipment into one full size rack and two shorter console racks with a new work surface.

Webcast Support for CFTC

R. A. M. Production Services, Inc. continues to provided video production support services to Capitol Connection which in turn, webcasts the public meetings of The Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Washington, DC. To date, RAMPSI has assisted with the last thirty public webcasts.

The meetings are shot with four robotic pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras operated by a single operator. The cameras and PowerPoint graphics are switched live and sent to Capitol Connection's encoding and streaming facility in Fairfax, Virginia via a Polycom 8000 VTC.
